Unfortunately, wordpress doesn’t let you embed youtube videos the way some sites do. Actually it is easier in wordpress. Just copy the url from youtube and when you are writing your page in wordpress, click on the “add video” icon and paste the url into the space. When you publish the page, the video will be there.

I added your video to our class blog on the page called “videos”, so you don’t need to worry about adding it again to your page before this afternoon

I ditto this. I’m sad my best friend is leaving next monday – but it will give me a lot more time to lock myself away and do work. I think that it is important for us all to take time and enjoy summer though – otherwise we will go CA-RAZEEEE.

for the record Miss Phillips, I certainly do not think you are a wuss. I think you are fantastic and deserve everything that makes you happy. . . .and I think that you should advocate for yourself, girl! As far as your concerns go about starting to teach in the fall and whether or not your students respect you, i think that you’re going to be great and don’t forget – we are all going to mess up at some point (maybe several points) but that is why we are “student teachers”. good luck with all your work this weekend!

Don’t sweat it too much. It’s not like we actually have to make a whole bunch of complicated calculations. We just have to know the difference between them all in order to tell the difference between a bad study/design and a good one.

I think that this is an important topic for an elementary teacher to research. Students who drop out don’t get to that point in 10th grade. There may be some interesting overlap with the College for Every Student program at Van Buren and Sacajawea.
